DOT Hazmat Security Awareness Course

This course is offered at no charge - with no obligation to take any paid courses

 

The U.S. Department of Transportation's Hazmat Security Awareness Course is available to take for free online through Hazmat University. You'll get to experience the quality of our training at no charge, and satisfy the 49 CFR § 172.704 hazmat training requirement for security awareness only.

 

How to Take the Course:

 

All you have to do is to Register as a student at Hazmat University. If you are already registered, then you can simply enroll in the course.

 

To Enroll in the Course, Login to the Hazmat University Learning Environment, and click on the Add Course Enrollment button.

 

Enter the following enrollment information:

   Course Code: DOT-HMSEC

   Enrollment Code: HAZMAT-SECURITY

and click the OK button. You will then be enrolled, and you can click on the Modules button to get started.

View the Lesson and Take the Exam.

After you have passed the exam, click Certificate to get a printout of the test results as required by the regulations, which you should retain for your records.
